Brush Fire at Tejon Trail

CPVFD were called to put out a brush fire on a ranch at Tejon Trail that was quickly spreading out of control. The fire was apparently the result of one of several brush piles burned a day or two earlier, but reignited today by high winds. The CPVFD response of 4 brush trucks, an ATV and a tender truck was able to bring the fire under control before it spread too far. We were assisted by a tender truck from the Comfort VFD. About 4-5 acres of grass, cactus and cedar were burned before the fire was brought under control. The photos below were taken during the mop up operation. I was riding shotgun on Brush Truck 8-4.
