Early voting started on February 14th at the Kerr County Hill Country Youth Event Center on Hwy 27. I’ve been out at the Event Center every day putting up signs (they make you take them down each day) and holding signs and waving at folks passing by. I’ve also had the opportunity to meet some incredible voters. However, today I received a real boost from our local Center Point celebrity, Lorraine LeMon, host of the “Lorraine LeMon Show” on the Hill Country Patriot Radio Station. Lorraine came out and held campaign signs for her favorite candidates (see photos below)! She always says, “it’s all about qualifications and track records”. A big thanks to Lorraine for her support! Other campaigners in the photos include former Kerrville Mayor, Bonnie White, and Leigh Gibson who have been supporting several other great candidates, including Wes Virdell for State Representative, Raul Reyes for State Senate and Allan West for Governor. Come on out and join us in the political process! It’s actually been a lot of fun. Or if you’re passing by and see me out there, give a honk and wave or stop by for a chat. Whatever you do, make sure you vote! Early voting will continue next week, Tuesday – Friday, ending on the 25th.
