I was sworn in on January 1st at the Kerr County courthouse along with the other recently elected county officials. I took the following oath administered by Jackie Dowdy, our Kerr County Clerk.
“I, Rich Paces, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the duties of the office of Kerr County Commission, Precinct 2, of the State of Texas, and will to the best of my ability preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States and of this great State, so help me God.”
