This website is provided by RICH PACES FOR KERR COUNTY COMMISSIONER PRECINCT 2 for informational purposes. Content may be updated or corrected at any time. Please use the website lawfully and respectfully, and do not submit unlawful, abusive, or deliberately false content through its forms or comment features.

Campaign SMS Program

The SMS program is operated by RICH PACES FOR KERR COUNTY COMMISSIONER PRECINCT 2.

Individuals who voluntarily enroll may receive recurring campaign and political text messages, including campaign news, candidate updates, public-event and town-hall announcements, election information, reminders, requests for feedback, and other campaign-related communications.

Voluntary Enrollment

Enrollment is voluntary. Consent to receive text messages is not required to use the website, contact the campaign, request information, attend an event, or support the campaign.

The website's SMS consent checkbox must remain optional and unchecked by default.

Message Frequency and Charges

Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency may vary. Reply STOP to opt-out and HELP for help.

Charges are determined by the recipient's wireless carrier and mobile service plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

Recipients may cancel at any time by replying STOP to a campaign text message.

After a valid STOP request, the recipient may receive a final message confirming the opt-out. No additional campaign messages should be sent unless the recipient later provides new consent.

Supported Delivery and Carrier Responsibility

Message delivery is subject to wireless-network availability and is not guaranteed. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We will not share text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, provided that the foregoing does not apply to sharing (1) with vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (and who will not use such information for their own purposes); (2) if we believe disclosure is required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation or to comply with law enforcement or legal process; and (3) if the user consents to our sharing of such information.

Comments and Submissions
