Today I attended a double Dedication and Blessing Ceremony for the 117th and 118th homes built by Habitat for Humanity in Kerrville. Habitat’s 117th House, sponsored by the Hise Estate, is now the home of Johnny Garcia and Sabrina Martinez and their sons: Zaiden, Isaiah, and Xzayvian. Habitat’s 118th House, sponsored by the Spaulding Trust, is now the home of Katryna Gray and her children: Jeremiah, Nevaeh, Imari, and D’Vonnie. These forever homes are wonderful blessings for their new owners, and I am glad to have been one of the core volunteers who helped build them. If you are handy with a hammer and want to be part of a great Christian mission, come out and join us. It’s a great cause and we have a lot of fun working together.
