Below are the preliminary results from the March 1st Republican primary election for County Commissioner, Precinct 2. There are still a few outstanding mail-in ballots that may be counted if they are corrected to the satisfaction of the poll watchers. However, the end result will not change in that there will be a runoff election between Sonya Hooten and myself. The runoff will be held on May 24th. I want to thank all of my supporters and especially all of you who voted for me. Of course, a lot of work remains to be done to bring a win home on the 24th of May and I will continue to need your support. Let me know if you can help in the form of block walking, hosting a meet and greet, putting a yard sign up, etc. In the meantime, simply spread the word. Thanks again!
